In the last third of every night Allah descends to the lowermost heaven and say:

” يَنْزِلُ رَبُّنَا تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى كُلَّ لَيْلَةٍ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا حِينَ يَبْقَى ثُلُثُ اللَّيْلِ الآخِرُ يَقُولُ مَنْ يَدْعُونِي فَأَسْتَجِيبَ لَهُ مَنْ يَسْأَلُنِي فَأُعْطِيَهُ مَنْ يَسْتَغْفِرُنِي فَأَغْفِرَ لَهُ ‏”‏‏

“Is there anyone to invoke Me, so that I may respond to invocation? Is there anyone to ask Me, so that I may grant him his request? Is there anyone seeking My forgiveness, so that I may forgive him?”

Between the Athan (call to the prayer) and Iqamah (immediate call to prayer)

 

It was narrated that Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said:

 

“muslim dua that is made between adhan and Iqamah is never rejected.” [Ahmed, Abu Dawood]

 

Late at Night

When people are sleeping and busy with worldly pleasures Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) gives the believers an opportunity, or an answer hour if they can fight sleep and invoke Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) for whatever they need.
As the Prophet (PBUH) said: 

“During the night there is a time when the Muslim does not ask for the good of this world and the Hereafter but it will be given to him, and that happens every night” [Narrated by Muslim]


The Messenger of Allah said:

إِنَّ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ سَاعَةً لاَ يُوَافِقُهَا عَبْدٌ مُسْلِمٌ يَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ خَيْرًا إِلاَّ أَعْطَاهُ إِيَّاهُ

“There is an hour during the night in which no Muslim bondman will ask Allah for good in this world and the next but He will grant it to him”. [Sahih Muslim ]

 

On Friday

 

Friday is the most important and blessed day of the week for Muslims. Narrated Abu Hurairah (RA) Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said in a hadith:

“There is no day more virtuous than Friday. There is such an hour in this day that no Muslim will make Muslim Dua in it except that his dua will be accepted. And he does not seek protection from anything except that Allah will grant him protection.” (Tirmidhi).

During the Rain


It is narrated that Prophet of Allah said:

“There are two muslim dua that cannot be rejected (meaning they are surely granted): The Du’aa’ when the Athaan is called and during rainfall.” [Reported by Al-Hakim and narrated by Sahl Ibn Saad. Al-Albaani]

In Sujood (When in prostration)

When fighting (Jihaad) in the path of Allah

 

The Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said:

“There are two supplications which are granted or very rarely refused: Du’aa’ after the Athaan and in the time of trouble when the Muslims meet (in battle) with the Kuffar (non-Muslims).” [Reported by Abu Daawood]

The Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said:

“There are three supplications that are answered without any doubt: The supplication of a father for his children, the muslim dua of a traveler, and the one of a victim of injustice.” [Abu Daawood]

 

When breaking the fast

 

The Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said:

“There are three people whose muslim dua cannot be rejected (i.e. they are granted), a just Imam, a fasting person when he breaks the fast, and a victim of injustice.” [At-Tirmithi]
